About Joel C. Milligan, MD

Joel C. Milligan, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician in Guntersville, Alabama. Dr. Milligan offers exceptional health care services to patients of all ages, treating all patients with compassion and improving their health and well-being through comprehensive treatments.  

Dr. Milligan received his bachelor’s of science in zoology from Arkansas State University. He then completed his doctorate of medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. After graduating, he pursued residency training in family medicine at UAB Huntsville Family Medicine Clinic, where he was eventually named chief resident. 

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Milligan enjoys helping patients through every step of their health care journey. From ensuring families receive excellent primary care and family medicine services to coordinating urgent care when you or a loved one has an injury or illness. Dr. Milligan is excited to work with families to ensure all their needs are met through quality medical care and wellness support.
